The correct route depends on the whole trip
There is no single visa answer for every traveler. Passport nationality, purpose, travel document and dates can change the applicable route. Start by checking those details and confirm the result against current official information.

Check before choosing a visa
The personalized route checker is not available in this first release. Compare the route categories below and confirm the current conditions in the linked official sources.
Compare the main route categories
Visa-free entry: do not assume an exception applies to you. Look up your passport and status in the official entry table; this overview does not establish eligibility for every country.
Unified e-visa: check the nationality list and permitted purposes, then the full official conditions. Nationality alone is not a personal eligibility decision.
Regular visa: the official form portal directs you to the selected consular location for purpose-specific documents, fees and procedure. Filling the form is not a visa.
Work, study, residence or transit-only: do not apply the short-visit e-visa answer; consult the competent authority about your specific route.
Find guidance by passport
Use the official eligible-country list to check whether your passport nationality is listed, then read the applicable official conditions and reviewed guide. Nationality alone does not decide the route. A live Russian Visa Guide route checker is not available.
Passport-specific country guides
Choose the passport you will travel on. Read the India passport guide or the Turkey passport guide for the relevant country-specific answer. These information pages do not give a personal checker decision.
